Vera Weber Vera is the Campaign Director of Fondation Franz Weber, a Swiss non-profit organisation for animal welfare and nature conservation. Vera is also the CEO of the historical, listed Grandhotel Giessbach on lake Brienz. The daughter of well known Swiss environmentalists who have dedicated the last 40 years of their lives to animal welfare promotion activities worldwide and protection of cultural heritage sites and monuments, Vera could not but embrace a similar vocation. Following studies in hotel management and journalism, Vera began working in the Fondation Franz Weber in 1999, spearheading environmental campaigns across the world.
